Gästis Vemdalen is a hostel located in the village of Vemdalen, offering accommodation in the form of room rentals and apartment rentals.

Our booking system is Sirvoy, and all data and payment solutions via the website are GDPR-compliant.

For guests who pay by card on-site, the payment solution is handled by Worldline, which manages card details and complies with PCI-DSS requirements.

When booking, guests must register their personal and card details in order to complete their booking via our website.

The information is used to communicate with the guest, process payment for accommodation, and in case of emergencies such as accidents or fires, to contact relatives.

The information is also used for statistics (Statistiska Centralbyrån), but only to determine the country of origin of the guest, with no other data being collected.

This information is stored in our booking system, Sirvoy, and will be kept for a 2-year period unless you, as a guest, request that your data be deleted earlier.

Gästis Vemdalen does not collect information about individuals that could pose a threat to their rights and freedoms, that could be classified as sensitive, or that could be found in criminal records.

Gästis Vemdalen is present on social media for the purpose of marketing its brand and services, but does not collect or store any information about individual users or their digital behavior patterns.
